The writer
I’m a writer, a journalist, and a mother - to one baby in the stars and one earthside. I began Life in Lines Studio to write for others what I’ve so often tried to write for myself: the quiet truths, the fierce love, and the tender in-between places.
As a journalist, I’ve built a career giving voice to important stories. But poetry has always been my refuge and a way to process, to honour, and to connect. After losing our baby girl, Pip, writing became both a lifeline and a way to keep her close.
Over the years, I’ve found such joy in crafting words that celebrate life’s big milestones for family and friends. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been asked to create writing or poems that spark laughter, tears, nostalgia, and connection. That joy is what I hope to share with you - writing that captures your story, in lines you can hold onto forever.
